The Center for MEDICS BLS Instructor Course is a two-phase blended-learning course that consists of an online learning portion, as well as in-person instruction. This course provides prospective students with all the tools and resources necessary to become an AHA BLS Instructor. To become an AHA Instructor, you must hold a current Provider card in the discipline you are seeking (BLS/ACLS/PALS)

Sponsoring Agency/ Affiliate Candidate: To become an active AHA Instructor, you have to affiliate with a Training Center (TC) or Training Site (TS) that you would fall under as an AHA instructor. If you are currently working for an agency that provides AHA instruction, the agency can sponsor you to attend the course, and the Center for MEDICS will assist with all requisite paperwork. If you are currently unaffiliated and would like to seek affiliation under the Center for Medics Training Center (TC), you can apply to become an AHA Instructor by emailing the Training Center Coordinator at bpaddock@centerformedics.com

Upon completion of both the online and in-person instruction, prospective AHA Instructors must be monitored teaching within 90 days for each discipline. From there, you will be issued your Instructor credentials, which are good for two years.
